  24. !HForm will format or initialise hard discs attatched to the ADFS 
  25. filing system. It runs outside the desktop but does not affect it.
  26. Pressing escape at any time aborts the program without carrying
  27. out the format. You will be asked the number of the drive to format
  28. HFoem will try to identify that drive. Confirm that the drive it 
  29. describes IS the one you want to format. Both ACorn and NCS accept
  30. no responsibility for the loss of data through the use of HForm.

  32. We reccommend that you do not keep a copy of HForm on your hard 
  33. disc(s). Keep it on a floppy for when you need it.

  35. You should not need to format any modern hard disc drives. When 
  36. asked to Format or Initialise (F/I) always choose to initialise.

  43. This program fixes the filing system so that it is not upset when
  44. the removable disc is spun down and removed.There are two versions
  45. of this program supplied, one for drive 4 and
  46. one for drive 5. Use drive 4 if your removable drive is the master and
  47. use drive 5 if it is the slave. Using Syquest on a fixed hard disc
  48. will have no adverse affects.
  49. Load it on to the icon bar and click once so that it indicates that
  50. a disc is present. Clicking on it again will cause the disc to spin 
  51. down so that it can be safely removed. When re-inserting a disc
  52. allow the drive to spin up before clicking on the SyQuest icon.
